K.O and Cashtime CEO part ways

When he came on board he found me in charge of everything at Cashtime, including managing Teargas. "He came in to help with that [management of artists], and I took the back seat." K.O said the hip-hop stable had lost many artists due to Khati's way of doing business. "When he started a lot of people could not understand his way of [doing] business because he was all about business. He changed a few things and that made a lot of people uneasy, and as a result many people left," he said. But the show goes on and the rapper will be at the forefront of running the business again. By Tshepo Bareetseng The rapper, who had recently released a solo album amid a burst of creative energy, died in Las Vegas where he was hospitalized several days ago after a performance as part of his lifelong struggle with sickle-cell anemia, a publicist for the group said. “It is with extreme sadness and disbelief that we confirm the death of our dear friend Albert Johnson, better known to millions of fans as Prodigy of legendary NY rap duo Mobb Deep,” a statement said, adding the exact cause of death was yet to be determined. The video features some local celebrity dads as well as normal people with their father. “In a time where many black fathers are infamous for being absent and dead beat fathers, this is such a good song,” one Twitter follower said of the sing and the video. eThekwini hides Nasty's and Babes' Bill

Mayor Zandile Gumede will host the event for award-winning rapper Nasty C and kwaito sensation Babes Wodumo at the Moses Mabhida Stadium. The Durban-born musicians were nominated in the global Black Entertainment (BET) Awards in the US. Durban Tourism boss Phillip Sithole‚ whose unit organised the breakfast‚ would only say it was a partnership with the brands of Nasty C and Babes Wodumo. When it came to how much it was costing ratepayers‚ he was mum. Sithole said the nomination of the Juice Back and Wololo hitmakers by BET went beyond a recognition that will elevate their careers but also speaks to the overall economic development agenda of Durban. By Tshepo Bareetseng Reports emerged that music star and record label owner Arthur Mafokate and his girlfriend Cici had a physical altercation that led Cici pressing charges against Arthur. it was reported that Kwaito star and business man Arthur Mafokate allegedly physically attacked his girlfriend, singer Cici. The altercation between the two apparently happened in the house they shared together and Cici opened a case against Arthur.Arthur was arrested and police confirmed he spent the night in cells and was released on R 500 bail. The success of Ngud’ has also seen Kwesta’s latest album‚ Dakar II‚ reach platinum status. He joined the likes of Pitch Black Afro‚ Cassper Nyovest‚ K.O‚ Riky Rick‚ AKA and Emtee‚ in selling over 40‚000 copies of an album. Despite waiting several years for his chance in the limelight‚ Kwesta said that he didn’t make the album to prove anything to the world. “It feels absolutely amazing to have received so much love. Lerato has previously opened up about the heartbreak she felt after a miscarriage in 2015, but revealed to talk show host Anele Mdoda , on Real Talk with Anele , that it was one of two miscarriages she suffered in recent years. "I have actually lost two children. I have only spoken about the (most recent) one because it was the one that affected me the most.
