Watkin Tudor Jones who is also known as ‘Ninja’ was born in the 27th September 1974 in Johannesburg. He attended school at Park town Boys High School; he quit school just a year before his graduation.
Jones is a South African rapper and record producer. He has been in the Hip-Hop music industry since the year 1998. He is known for his Hip-Hop and Electro music. Jones is also a renowned graphic artist and creator of a range of ‘nasty’ fluffy toys. He also used to be an actor and doing commercials for Nando’s.
He is known for many nick names such as Ninja, The Man Who Never Back, MC Totally Rad and Yang Weapon.
Watkin Tudor Jones has a few albums under different guises. He was in a group called Max Normal and he was a lead vocalist, in the year 2001 the group dropped an album called ‘Songs from the Mall’.
In the early 2002, Watkin left Max Normal. He moved from Johannesburg to go and live in Cape Town where he joined the eccentric rave-rap crew called ‘Die Antwoord’.
